An Indiecater Christmas 2009

Christmas has always been a special time for us, and even though we are indie snobs to the core, we find it hard to resist anything with a sleigh bell come December 1st. It has become a mission of ours, starting last year, to get some new tunes onto the Christmas playlists, songs that may even sound pretty good after the 25th. It’s funny how things work out, but this year’s compilation has a softer side than last year’s. Don’t let that put you off though, because for every Christmas party there are as many moments when you’ll feel like locking yourself away with some soothing sounds. And the emphasis is definitely on tuneage as you’ll discover on each of these carefully sculpted numbers, which have the expressed intention of bringing joy to the world. Most of the 13 tunes were recorded especially for this compilation, and bring with them the heart-warming appeal of freshly fallen snow.

Hope you have a great one this year. Merry Christmas from everyone at Indiecater Records!

So come all ye faithful, may we present this year’s choir.
